Ready to plan? Please send me an email and feel free to include as many details as you'd like. We will then determine the best way to communicate as I find it easiest to directly consult the client in person or via webcam/phone. I can help make the vision a reality whether you know exactly what you are looking for or have a vague idea that is difficult to express.

This is an inevitable question but impossible to answer before the consultation is complete. The size of the project, the intricacy of the design, and the time involved all contribute to the cost. An estimate will be provided only after the consultation is complete. If you are working within a budget, please specify this during the consultation so that I may provide options within these parameters.

The options for design are broad, and it is difficult to have just a few options available when there are limitless possibilities. If you have a specific idea or symbolic content that needs to be addressed, please attach photos in your initial email or write what you need very clearly.

If your idea is difficult to express, simply reach out to me. I dedicate many hours to studying various styles and motifs. Terms that describe a cultural or historical style will always give me a good idea of the overall vision. Some examples may include: Victorian, Edwardian, Art Nouveau, Egyptian, Germanic, Celtic, Neo-Gothic, Greco-Roman, Mayan, ect. Did I mention the possibilities are limitless?

What sets my style apart from other headstone carvers is my signature etching technique on lithochrome paint; I call this the Dark Engraving. Black looks the most elegant, but I can order just about any color, even metallic pigments. Although I highly suggest this technique because it creates a unique and otherworldly appearance, I can just as easily go "bare" with the headstone, meaning I will be utilizing techniques that require minimal to no paint.

See the picture on the right for an example of a Dark Engraving.

Rates to ship vary. Customers will be given a quote for shipping with the estimate. Please keep in mind that marble is very bulky and heavy, but I try to get the best rates that I can. Due to the nature of the aforementioned, international customers and those outside the contiguous US are always able to be served, but it may be quite expensive to ship. Once again, I work hard to get the best rates I can. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to email me.
